Sisi heads to China to attend G20 summit

CAIRO, Sept 3 (Aswat Masriya) - Egypt's president concluded his three-day  visit to India on Saturday and is heading to China's Hangzhou to attend the 11th session of G20 summit.

The summit will be held on 4-5 September.

Egypt is participating for the first time in the summit as a guest of honour based on an invitation by the Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Sisi will participate in different sessions of the summit and will focus on the importance of strengthening international efforts to facilitate the integration of developing countries into the world economy, a presidency statement said previously.

The G20 is an international forum that comprises 19 countries and the European Union (EU).

It is the first time for the summit to be hosted by China.

This marks Sisi's third visit to China since he took office in 2014.
